Moving to San Clemente: finding your ward

To find your ward after moving to San Clemente, enter your address in the Church's meetinghouse locator. It shows the congregation that covers your home. If you live within the Marblehead Ward area, you can also tell us you have moved in on our requests page, and we will welcome you.

Find your ward

Latter-day Saint congregations are assigned by address, so the right ward depends on where you live. Open the Church meetinghouse locator, type in your home address and it will show your ward and its meeting time and location. The same tool works if you are moving from another city or state.

Our ward meets at 310 Avenida Vista Montana in San Clemente, with sacrament meeting on Sundays at 9:00 AM. You can also see us on the Church's page for Marblehead Ward.

Let us know you moved in

Use the moving-in option on our requests page. You choose what to share, and we ask for only what we need to reach you. A ward leader can then arrange a visit, a call or a hello on Sunday, depending on what you prefer. Members who have moved may also want their records to follow them, and ward leaders can help with that.

Families moving from elsewhere often have practical questions about schools, youth programs and where to find the nearest temple. The nearest one is the Newport Beach California Temple. Our temple page has more.

If you are new to the Church too

You are welcome whether or not you are a member. Come on a Sunday, ask questions on the contact page or look at the ward calendar to see what is happening. Neighbors in Talega, Forster Ranch, Dana Point and San Juan Capistrano will find their own wards through the locator as well.

Moving is a busy season, so take your time. Our visit page covers what to expect when you come.
